Please search your inbox, spam or junk folders for this email and continue with your J1 application. If you are unable to find the above email, just click on http://app.interexchange.org/users/sign_in and select 'Forgot?' and follow the instructions.

You must sign your Personal Declaration and Participant Agreement and complete the next step which is to comply with the Placement section. You must  complete all of the information requested in the Placement section including employer’s contact information (phone, email etc.), hours, wages, and the exact work dates that you have committed to working (between May 15th and September 15th).

All incomplete job offers will be rejected. Your application will be moved to the end of the list and will not be processed until the correct information is provided.

InterExchange Vetting Procedure

The procedure is as follows:

  1. InterExchange will be in contact with your employer by email.
  2. The employer must complete a Host Employer Application and upload their Business License and Workers’ Compensation Policy documents to their online InterExchange account.
  3. Once the above step is done, InterExchange will call the employer for their vetting interview. 

Please note the following:

  1. Unfortunately SAYIT J1 can not accept any Business License and/ or Workers’ Compensation Policy document directly from you nor your employer.
  2. An email is automatically sent to an employer asking them to log in to complete the Host Employer Application when a participant submits a job offer for vetting. Reminder emails are sent weekly after the initial email.
  3. Your employer should be reminded to check their spam folders if they have not received the InterExchange Host Employer Application email.
  4. You should direct your employer to fill out the Host Employer Application to speed up the vetting process and have them call InterExchange on 1800-621-1202.
