Eligibility & Booking Procedure

Eligibility

All participants in the Camp USA program must be:

• Students, teachers, bona fide youth workers, or individuals with specialized skills.
• At least 18 years of age by June 1st of the year of participation. Not older than 28. 
• Strong English speakers.
• Highly dedicated individuals who are committed to participating in the program for 9 to 15 weeks.
• Available to work from early to mid-June through late August (between May 15th- September 15th)
• Genuinely interested in working with children in an outdoor setting.
• Skilled in: Art & Crafts, Outdoor & Adventure, Performing Arts & Media, Sports, Waterfront activities.*
• Be able to show proof of funds of up to $800USD if requested.

* Skilled activities such as: Archery, Arts & Crafts, Baseball, Basketball, Boating, Camping, Canoeing, Ceramics, Climbing, Computer, Cricket, Dance, Drama, Droning, Fencing, Fitness, Mini-Golf, Gymnastics, Hiking, Hockey, Horse Riding, Kayaking, Lifeguarding, Magic, Music, Outdoor Education, Performing Arts, Photography, Rugby, Sailing, Skateboarding, Soccer, Swimming, Teaching, Tennis, Videography, Waterskiing, Woodwork, Yoga.

Booking Procedure

Apply

Register and complete a quick online application. You’ll just need to provide some basic information about yourself- mainly why you want to be a camp counselor! Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you to pay your deposit of €95.00. You will then be asked to upload a few documents and book an interview appointment with one of our Camp Co-ordinators. Once completed a further instalment of €195.00 is due. 

Match

Once accepted, camp directors will be able to view your application. They may contact you for an interview and you can reach out to them as well. You’ll have access to our network of the BEST summer camps across America. You can also view and apply to camps that interest you. Once you receive an offer you’re excited about, you’re one step closer to the summer of a lifetime! Full payment required, once your hired!

Travel 

After you accept a job offer, the process is simple. You’ll get your documents for J-1 Visa sponsorship, travel arrangements, orientation, insurance, and other logistics. Before you know it, you’ll be at camp doing that summer job you’ve been dreaming about!!
