Travelling to Boston for your J1?
Here's some information from our friends at J1Accom about renting in their building, located in the centre of Boston:
The J1Accom building is located at 150 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02111, USA, directly across from Boston Common. Located in the heart of the city next to all major tram and bus lines it is the ideal location for J1ers to stay during their time in Boston.
- Building Dates: 23rd May - 8th August
- Students can check into the building at any time during these dates and they will be greeted by onsite J1Accom rep
Packages starting at only €2,400 for the whole Summer!
- Shared Room €2,400 rent (includes utilities, wifi, refuse, gas, electricity) plus €50 bed sheet package and a €250 refundable deposit. (€2,700 total)
- Private Room - €2,700 rent (includes all utilities wifi, refuse, gas, electricity), plus €50 bed sheet package and a €250 refundable deposit. (€3,000 total)
J1Accomm offers a flexible payment plan that lets students spread the cost of accommodation over the months leading up to summer. If you’d rather pay the full fee upfront and have it taken care of, that option is available too. With your rent paid before you head stateside, every dollar you earn while you’re there is yours to enjoy.

J1Accom can accommodate any group size. Whether you’re a solo traveller or part of a group of 10, J1Accom is the perfect place to stay for your J1 in Boston. Solo travellers who wish to share a room will be placed with other solo travellers of the same gender, giving you the chance to make new friends instantly.
All rooms come equipped with a chest of drawers, closest, desk and desk chair per person. All rooms include a shared fridge/freezer. The Boston building is a dormitory style building with common areas to hang out on each floor. There are two main communal kitchens in the building.The basement features free laundry services, as well as a pool table and ping-pong tables, making it the perfect place to relax and hang out.
